The
God-Emperor of the formerly great state of California, Gavin Newsom,
has announced that that 10% of the available doses of Covid vaccine are
being set aside starting March 1 for "educators" (I think those used to
be teachers) and other school staff for K-12 grade levels.
Shipping
problems due to severe winter storms have delayed arrival of the
vaccine to much of glorious California. Appointments have been
cancelled in great numbers, including one for yours truly for this
coming Wednesday.
The CA
Teachers Association has announced this as an important "first step" for
reopening government schools. Some of them are still demanding
reparations for slavery and other interesting social justice issues
before they even think of going back into school. This kind of makes me
think the teachers unions are more interested in pimping for a social
agenda than in teaching the students, but maybe that's just me.
