CITY UNSUCCESSFUL WITH RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST COUNCIL MEMBER STAFFER

by Bob Walsh

Katie Valenzuela is a member of the Sacramento City Council.  Skyler Henry is a paid staffer of hers.  The city sought a restraining order against Henry coming to the city hall due to statements he has made in electronic media which could reasonably be considered threatening against the City Manager and the Mayor.   They were unsuccessful with a TRO, but are still going to court in two weeks seeking a TRO.

In  a podcast in march Henry said "You should be terrified for the rest of your life" referring to Democreat Senator Krysten Sinema.  He then added, "You should never be able to leave your house if that is how you are going to use your position to govern.  And like, to me, the same thing sort of applies to the mayor and the city manager of this city."

The city's position is that City employees should not have to share work space with someone who has advocated terror tactics as a means to resolve political differences."  They may very well have a point.  Especially (IMHO) since this clown is also an employee and not just as asshole making noise.

Since the court denied the TRO the asshole is now attempting to sue the city for attempting to protect themselves from him.
