There
is a federal "special master" who has control, thru the federal courts,
of all inmate health care within the Calif. Dept. of Corrections (and
rehabilitation). He has ordered that ALL STAFF MUST have Covid-19
vaccinations as failure to do so poses an immediate grave risk to the
inmate population.
I am
unsure he has the legal authority to do that, though I am unsure he does
not. I wonder if the union will oppose him. I sort of doubt it.
Right now they are sucking up to the God Emperor Gavin Newsom big time
and he LOVES being able to order people to do things just because he
gets his rocks off on doing so.
