Bruce called Judge Zhuo Wang "bro" during the court apperance.                                                             Bro Marvin Bruce

The gunman who allegedly shot an innocent commuter outside of Penn Station earlier this week was held on bail Friday — after calling a Manhattan judge “bro” at his arraignment.

Marvin Bruce, wearing gray sweatpants and a blue hoodie, appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court Friday afternoon before Judge Zhuo Wang after being arrested on assault and weapons possession charges.

“Good afternoon, bro,” the 27-year-old greeted said to the judge moments after the jurist began the arraignment.

Wang ordered Bruce to be held on $100,000 bail or $300,000 bond.

The suspected triggerman allegedly shot a 58-year-old innocent bystander in the leg outside of the bustling commuter terminal just before 6 p.m Monday.

The bullet “shattered” the victim’s femur and require emergency surgery, prosecutors charged in a criminal complaint.

At the arraignment, Assistant District Attorney Meral Kerim told the judge, “the facts in this case are extremely violent.”

“The defendant, during rush hour at Penn Station, fired a firearm,” Kerim said. “He was observed following a stranger out of Penn Station, at which point he removed a firearm from his waistband and shot in the direction of that stranger.

“However, he missed and instead struck an innocent bystander in the leg.”

Bruce was on the lam for three days after the shooting and tried to run from the warrant squad when he was arrested in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn on Thursday, according to Kerim.

Cops have video footage of Bruce ditching a gun in a box on the street after Midtown shooting, Kerim told the judge.

He also admitted to the shooting soon after his arrest, Kerim added.

Legal Aid attorney Francis White argued for Bruce by highlighting that the 27-year-old has no criminal record and “he is, of course, presumed innocent.”
