There
was a debate of sorts on Tuesday night among many of the Republicans
running to replace the God-Emperor Gavin Newsom as fearless leader of
the formerly great state of California.
A
private investigator, Aman Choudyry, served John Cox, one of the
participants, with a lawsuit as Cox was introducing himself to the
audience on stage at the Guild Theatre in Sacramento.
Allegedly
Cox has been successfully dodging service since February. He is being
sued by an ad agency that worked on a prior election campaign for Cox.
They want roughly $100,000.
The papers order him to appear in San Diego to deal with the issue.
