Laniesha Wells, 25, is looking at maybe 17 years as a guest of the state of Ohio for shooting a burglar.
Ms.
Wells walked into her apartment on Toledo about 13 months ago and found
Milton Roberts inside her apartment, stealing her stuff. She
confronted him and he booked it out the side door. Ms. Wells followed
him. Roberts at that time turned back towards Wells and she shot his
happy ass. She then walked up to him as he lay on the sidewalk bleeding
and shot him several more times. She then walked away without
notifying either the cops or EMS.
Instead of the 17 possible she got 6 to 8 1/2 years. Anybody remember Bernie Goetz?

Should have been given a medal and ice cream for ridding the neighborhood
