On Sunday the Texas Supreme Court ruled that the Governor can indeed ban mask mandates within the great state of Texas.
This
decision is only temporary until a final ruling can be made by that
court. It should be noted that justices of the Texas Supreme Court are
elected, not appointed. Currently all the sitting justices are
Republicans.
Both the
Dallas Independent School District and the San Antonio Independent
School District promptly announced that they will continue with their
mask requirements regardless of what the court says. A state district
court judge had previously granted several school districts the power to
continue their mask mandates.

Sadly, Governor Abbott just announced that he has COVID.
He is, however, totally asymptomatic.
Hopefully this crippled incompetent lazy bastard dies.
How could this be “sad” this incompetent fool is telling people to ignore science and risk their lives.
