THE HAZARDS OF FISHING OFF THE COMPANY PIER

Jeff Zucker used to be the HMFIC at CNN.  Until this morning.  He resigned due to his unreported relationship with a subordinate employee.  She is still on the payroll.

The rumor mill says that Chris Cuomo tried to shake down Zucker over this not-particularly-secret relationship in order to keep his gig or at least get his contract buyout.  I guess it didn't work.  Or maybe the story is BS.
