The state senate of the formerly great state of California has yet another item to check off of it's bucket list. Senator Toni Atkins, who is an open lesbian (as opposed to a closed lesbian I guess) and the first person of that general persuasion to become President Pro-Tem of the state senate.
I am confident that there is no truth to the rumor that the Assembly is, in desperation to stand out, looking for an alcoholic left-handed Lithuanian child molester to be HMFIC of the state assembly.
