About 18 months ago the Santa Clara County S. O. responded to a request for a welfare check at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Craig. Their granddaughter had called, telling the cops that the Craigs had not been responding to telephone calls for some days.
The cops pounded on the door about 8 p.m. and got no response. They prowled around for nearly an hour and finally entered thru the back garage door. Once inside they encounter Mr. Craig, age 86, holding a .38. The uniformed deputies REPEATEDLY called him by name and directed him to drop his gat. Fortunately this is all on bodycam. After several seconds Craig pointed his weapon at Sgt. Doug Ulrich, who put four bullets in his happy ass. Mr. Craig shuffled off this mortal coil as a result.
The D. A. has just ruled that Craig's death was justifiable.

Mr. Craig was a piece of shit. He couldn't do it himself so he makes the police kill him. Suicide is suicide whether it is by your own hand or assisted. That Sgt will have to live with that shooting forever!
