THREE ARKANSAS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS GOT THEIR ASSES PADDLED FOR PARTICIPATING IN GUN CONTROL SCHOOL WALKOUT

The school superintendent claims the students were punished for violating school rules, not for participating in the national walkout

Three high school students in the rural Greenbrier Public School District of north-central Arkansas got their asses paddled for participating in the national 17-minute gun control school walkout. The paddling was administered by the Dean of Students and witnessed by the Assistant principal.

The Greenbrier school superintendent confirmed the punishment but claims the three were paddled for violating school rules and not for participating in the national walkout.

The students were given two punishment options – an in-school suspension or a paddling. They chose the latter and later were complimentary of how the paddling was carried out.

I strongly suspect the superintendent’s school rules explanation is bogus. The Greenbrier district is very conservative. Had the walkout been a demonstration condemning NFL players for disrespecting our flag and country, the three students would have most likely been joined by the superintendent, the dean of students and the assistant principal.
