The
Georgia Secretary of State (who is a Republican and therefore both
stupid and evil according to most of the legacy media) has announced
that there were at least 1,000 people who voted twice in the recent
Georgia primary. These were people who submitted an absentee ballot and
then voted in person as well.
The
SecState, Brad Raffenspreger, said that none of these votes would have
effected any of the races. It is, as one might expect, illegal to vote
twice.
Georgia's
Voter Empowerment Task Force (a liberal bunch of asswipes) asserted that
Rafensperger's claim is "a distraction." Interestingly enough they did
not claim it was false.
2.2
million votes were cast in the Georgia primaries, about 1.6 million of
those were absentee votes. There were a lot of complaints saying the
absentee ballots arrived too late to do a mail turnaround and had to be
delivered in person to make the cutoff date.
