A
drone carrying weed and cell phones was snagged in a net over the fence
line of the state prison at JPearl, Mississippi. John T. Ross, 33, and
Joshua R. Corban, 18, made initial court appearances on Tuesday in the
Rankin County Court facing charges of conspiracy and attempting to
smuggle contraband into the Pearl facility.
The
dummies were actually picked up on surveillance launching the damn
thing. This is the third drone that has been netted at Mississippi
prisons this year.
The
current drone is being reprogrammed and used by the state at the
Parchman facility to help keep and eye on the guests of the state.
