Joe Biden has been doing pod casts and interviews from a small studio in his home basement. It is really sad to watch. He can't even read from a script or respond to obviously screened questions. He looses his train of thought half-way thru a sentence. He throws together six or eight dependent clauses or random thoughts and pretends they are a sentence. I can understand why his peeps want to stall off or even cancel the Democrat convention and just declare Joe the candidate. They would love it if there were no debates. I don't think Old Joe could debate a golden retriever right now.
Another woman has come forward to accuse Old Joe of sexual assault. She took her complaint to both Pocahontas Warren and Kamala Harris early in the election cycle and they both gave her the bum's rush. There is ZERO independent corroboration of the story, but the Dems say the women MUST be believed. I guess that doesn't count if it is a Dem in the crosshairs.
IF this Covid-19 mess turns out to be not an unmitigated disaster and IF the economy rebounds quickly (both very major IFs) I am unsure how much this will hurt Trump in the election. We are sort of in uncharted territory here. The I HATE TRUMP side is blaming him for virtually everything, but a reasonable reading of the time line and honest-to-god facts will show that Trump got into the fight much quicker and much harder than most of his opponents, including Cuomo and Pelosi. I just hope we have a functioning economy by October. August would be even better. July 4 would be better still.
