MINNEAPOLIS STILL MOVING AHEAD WITH PLANS TO ASHCAN THE POLICE.......SORT OF

Thus tar the cop-hating psychos on the Minneapolis City Council have been unable to destroy the police department due to the way the city charter is written.  They are required by law to maintain the police department at a certain level and have, thus far, been unable to eliminate that requirement.

The next move is to attempt to establish is Public Safety Department, of which the Police Department will be only one division.  That way they MAY be able to pretend legally that social workers, mental health clinicians and other wannabe "first responders" are part of the police department.  So far it isn't working, much to the chagrin of the cop haters on the council and within the public.  I guess most of those don't own burnout stores or have real jobs.
