Biden is intentionally buying votes, lots of them, with his student loan forgiveness
By Howie Katz
Biden's forgiveness of student loans is basically unfair to those who went to college without ever taking any loan and to those who never attended college.
Among Democrats, Tim Ryan, the Ohio Senate nominee, released this statement: "Waiving debt for those already on a trajectory to financial security sends the wrong message to millions of [Americans] without a degree working just as hard to make ends meet." New Hampshire Rep. Chris Pappas gave this statement: "This announcement by President Biden is no way to make policy and sidesteps Congress and our oversight and fiscal responsibilities. Any plan to address student debt should go through the legislative process, and it should be more targeted and paid for so it doesn't add to the deficit." Of course the Republicans oppose the forgiveness of student loans.
Make no mistake about it, Biden is not playing Santa Clause. His intent was and is to buy several million votes, pure and simple.

Fortunately I suspect that many of the votes he is buying are people who would vote for him anyway, or at least would NOT vote for a Republican. Plus I would take a small wager that it will not stand up to legal attack.
I believe Biden may lose more votes than he would gain. Judging from the media including main stream liberal media outlets this plan isn't being welcomed with open arms.
