The
new California Garlic Festival held at the San Joaquin County
Fairgrounds in Stockton was an unqualified success. They had a very
respectable car show, petting zoo, carnival rides, cooking
demonstrations, music and all sorts of nice, family oriented stuff.
Nobody got knifed, nobody got shot, and things went very well indeed.
Looks like the Asparagus Festival may have a serious competitor.
