REWIND

There is a very interesting bill which will almost certainly soon be signed into law by the God-Emperor of California, Gavin Newsom.

This new law would allow expungment of criminal records after four years of not having been re-arrested and expungment of criminal arrest records that do not result in a conviction except in the cases of "serious" felonies.  Therein lies the rub.

For instance under the proposal assault on a peace officer is NOT a serious felony, unless a machinegun is used in the assault.  Rape of an unconscious person is not a serious felony.

Apparently the fact that, by law, persons with many sorts of criminal records are prohibited from certain jobs in CA.  For instance, you can not get a barbers license (last time I checked) if you had a felony record.  Instead of tweaking the laws regarding occupational licensing the formerly great state of California is going at it from the other direction and just shitcanning the records.

Gee, what a surprise.  NOT.

Watching Kalifornia take the lead in destroying this great country. Not a pretty sight.
