While I am disturbed by the allegations laid out by FBI whistleblowers, it is certainly not surprising that they are exposing the Bureau’s leadership for it’s hypocrisy and corruption.
These whistleblower allegations are the beginning of the dam breaking on what appears to be widespread abuses by numerous leaders of the FBI against rank-and-file agents, even beyond what we have seen with their recent Gestapo-like tactics against President Trump and his supporters.
If Director Wray is back from his taxpayer-funded travel to for his vacation, Congress must call him in for questioning and this time get straightforward answers to these disturbing allegations.
There needs to be a complete reevaluation of those in charge at both the FBI headquarters and any field offices where powers are being abused in ways that would make J. Edgar Hoover blush
