CRIME NEWS FROM CANADA

By Bob Walsh

“It’s not every day that you deal with such high-pressure situations,” said Const. Randall Arsenault, who with his partner, Const. Marleen Conley, pulled two drowning men out of a motel pool on Friday.                                                                   Toronto cops

Just so our quirky neighbors from the north don't get offended by being ignored I thought I would throw them into the mix just a little.

Eight teenage girls are in custody following a slice-and-dice "swarming" attack on a 59-year old man.  At about midnight on Sunday the cops responded to the downtown area and found the man down, suffering from multiple stab wounds.  He died later in the hospital.  They quickly developed general information on the suspects and arrested three 13-year old girls, three 14-year old girls and two 16-year old girls still in the general vicinity of the attack.  It appears they wanted a bottle of liquor the man had in his possession.  All eight of the girls are Canadian.  Three are "known to the police."  They were too stupid to dump the weapons, they still had them on them.

The girls will remain in custody pending further court action.

In addition a 73-year old man shot and killed five residents of the same condo building in which he lived in Vaughn, Ontario, just north of Toronto.  All were on the condo board.  The shooter, Francesco Velli, was terminally rehabilitated by police gunfire.

Valli had sued the various members of the Condo board for ongoing "acts of crime and criminality."  These acts appear to stem from the buildings electrical room, which was just below his unit.  It appeared that Velli was as couple of French fries short of a happy meal.  I guess the tin foil hat wasn't giving him enough protection from the brain rays being directed by the lizard men.
