Christopher Williams, 62, did
almost 30 years in the slammer, 25 on death row, in Philadelphia. He
was acquitted of two murder charges and exonerated on the four others
that he was actually in custody for. He was released 22 months ago.
He
was shot to death on Friday. He had been tail-end Charlie on a funeral
procession. When the procession stopped he got out of his car and was
shot in the head. He died.
He had a lawsuit pending against the D A who prosecuted him. I wonder if she has an alibi.

When you are arrested, convicted and jailed for murder and then circumstances find you innocent, you better lay low because the true murderer may still be loose. Let's also not forget the victim's family. There are folks who may make sure justice is served.
