The Baybrook Bridge
Back
in August some knucklehead did a back flip off Baybrook Bridge over the
Boise (ID) river. He landed on the rear end of a raft, injuring two
people in the process. The two people ended up in the hospital. The
fire department did not bother to take the name of the knucklehead so
the injured people, a father and young son, have filed a tort claim
against the city for $100,000. This is a normal, required step prior to
filing a suit.
The jump off the bridge is illegal. It is a violation of the city code and carries a $100 fine.
