ANTI-ABORTION PRIEST FIRED BY VATACAN FOR BLASPHEMY

Frank Pavone was Father Frank Pavone in Amarillo, Texas until recently.  Now he is just plain old Frank.  He was defrocked by the Pope for blasphemy and persistent disobedience to his bishop.

Pavone was, and possibly still is, the head of PRIESTS FOR LIFE, a fairly vocal group of anti-abortion clergy.  As far back as 2011 he got into trouble with his bishop and got slapped down as bit.  However I guess placing an aborted fetus on a church altar (back in 2016) was a little much for the Holy Father as well as Pavone's continued unwillingness to get along with the program.  He made a lot of social media posts of a political nature.

He isn't happy with the decision but when the Pope says you are done, you are done.  No appeal.
