14,000 Tacoma residents were without power on Sunday morning.
Four more power substations
have been attacked and deliberately damaged, these on Christmas
morning. All were in Pierce County, WA and knocked 14,000 customers off
the grid. Two were at Tacoma Public Utilities property, the third at
a Puget Sound Energy location. At least some of these customers will
be out for 24 hours.
The Pierce County SO had no coherent statement to make.
