Ferndale is a very pretty,
quaint little burg in Humbolt County in NorCal. It suffered a 6.4
earthquake this morning. 2 known dead, at least 19 injured, but a LOT of
inconvenient property damage. Roads, water lines, natural gas lines are
all significantly damaged. The bridge into town is MAYBE not damaged
but the transitions from the bridge to the roads are damaged. Some
homes are off foundations.
Mother nature can, at times, be a bitch.
