SOME PEOPLE TAKE RULES VERY SERIOUSLY

Shoko Miyata, 19, is the captain of the Japanese Olympic Artistic Gymnastics Squad.  She was just sent home after breaking the rules.  She is KNOWN to have been smoking cigarettes and is believed to have consumed alcohol, both of which are not only illegal in Japan until age 20 but also prohibited by team rules.

It is my understanding that, as a people, the Japanese are strong believers in "following the rules."
