ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- A Holocaust survivor says she was a victim of a “very demeaning body search” by U.S. Transportation Security Administration agents after a visit in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Eva Mozes Kor tweeted on Sunday in Albuquerque that she has to undergo the intrusive body search before boarding a plane and that it ruined her experience following a lecture.

“There has to be some way that at age 84 I can get some clearance by the POWERS of government from this procedure,” she tweeted. “As I lecture about surviving Auschwitz, I barely survive the TSA body search. I detest it.”

The Indiana resident spoke with teachers from around New Mexico at the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History on Saturday about suffering through inhumane scientific experiments at the Auschwitz concentration camp as a 10-year-old.

It was unclear if the TSA search in question occurred at Albuquerque International Sunport.

TSA Regional Public Affairs Manager Carrie Harmon did not immediately return an email from The Associated Press.

I have been hand searched by TSA. This is a normal procedure. Why is it a story when an elderly person is searched? Older travelers are used as mules regularly. Everybody bitches about it.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you. Long ago, Homeland Security ordered TSA to stop making elderly people take off their shoes. People in their 50s and 60s are known to smuggle in drugs, but they are not suicide bombers. And the young bombers will almost all be of Middle East and North African backgrounds.

It's the dream of every Palestinian terrorist, as well as that of other Islamic terrorists, to bring down an El Al airliner. but Israel does no go through all that TSA shit. To begin with, Israeli intelligence runs background checks on every El Al ticket buyer. And they thoroughly search boarding passengers who fit a profile as possible terrorists. And, oh shit, that includes racial profiling. When was the last time you heard of an El Al airliner being hijacked or brought down by a bomb?
