Wayne Michael, 42, of Des Moines, was sentenced to ten years as a guest
of the state for going off on somebody in a Vision 4 Less store in
November of last year.
It
seems that another customer, Mark Dinning, approached Michael and asked
him to wear his mask properly. Apparently his nose was not covered.
It got a little unpleasant and then moved to the parking lot, where it
got physical. According to the cops, the DA, and the jury, Michael
knocked Dinning on his ass and then attached him on the ground, gouging
his eyes and punching him in the nuts. He also spin in Dinning's face
during the attack. Numerous eye witnesses backed up Dinning's take on
the situation.
Being an asshole has it's costs.
