I Guess That's The Only Thing That Will Get You Arrested In Portland

The victims were a man from California and his 5-year old daughter. They were cycling along the Eastbank Esplanade this past Saturday just before 4 p.m. when Dylan J. Kesterson, 34, approached them. Kesterson made comments about the victim's supposed Japanese ancestry and then started beating the man and the little girl in the head. The man's wife was nearby but was not attacked.
Witnesses intervened and Kesterson left but was very quickly arrested.
Kesterson was booked into the local slammer on one felony bias crime and two misdemeanor bias crimes.
I hope they hand his ass to him. Beating on a 5-year old kid is not a nice thing.
