It now seems likely that all 21
of the people killed at the "night club" in South Africa a couple of
weeks back died from methanol poisoning. They are still working up the
progressive tox screens but they do know that all of the dead people had
significant levels of methanol in their systems. Methanol is used for
various medical and industrial purposes and is NOT drinkable. (At least
not safely.)
