The final chapter in this little morality play played out
at about 0320 hours in a stop-and-rob in St. Charles, MO, just outside
of St. Louis.
A customer
in the store observed a man grab the female clerk, put a knife to her
throat and start dragging her towards the front of the store. She young
lady was screaming her guts out so the customer was pretty sure he had a
real situation going on.
The
customer, who had just left the store, returned to the store and drew
his gat. He distracted and then opened fire on the bad guy. It turned
out that the bad guy had, within the previous half hour, robbed two
similar stores and assaulted and injured a female clerk. The bad guy
went tits up at a local hospital.
No names have been released.
