NOT ALL LETHAL THREATS WALK ON TWO LEGS

On Monday a 13-month old was mauled to death by a dog in the Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans.

Both the cops and the LA SPCA showed up at the house.  The LA SPCA officer arrived first and when the cops rolled up they heard the officer screaming.  The cops responded and shot the dog to death.  

Info on the type of dog involved has yet to be released.  The condition of the SPCA officer is not known.  The child's cause of death is officially "unclassified" until a post-mortem is conducted.  

It has also not yet known if the child lived at the home and if the dog lived at the home.
