A HOT TIME IN OLD LONDON TOWN

I guess things are nasty on the other side of the pond.  It was 104 degrees in London yesterday, the highest temperature EVER recorded there.  There is a huge increase in household fires within London, to the point where the London Fire Brigade has declared a state of emergency.  There are also a couple of good-size fires burning close enough to London that the smoke is becoming an issue in London itself.

Sounds very unpleasant indeed.

Looks like Jerry Jeff Walker's "London Homesick Blues" doesn't apply at this time.
