COPS WANTED BY DALLAS TRANSIT POLICE ... AND THE PAY IS GOOD

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Police Department is currently offering a 5K signing bonus. 2.5K at hire and 2.5K at the completion of Field Training. 
 
The department just implemented a competitive step plan rewarding tenured officers for staying and offering lateral transfers a competitive salary. 
 
Step Plan information:
 
Starting salary: $70,000
Six Months: $73,500
One Year: $77,175
Two Years: $81,033
Three Years: $85,085
Four Years: $89,339
Five Years: $93,806
Ten Years: $98,497
Fifteen Years: $103,421*
Twenty Years: $108,592
 
*The maximum starting salary for lateral transfers is $103,421 for officers who have 15 or more years of service.
