Mohammed Almaru and Mia Maro
Back on May 1, 2022, Mohammed
Almaru, 42, of Tinley Park, Il., had a beef with his daughter, Mia
Maro. He had given her permission to attend the senior prom and then
revoked his permission, citing his lack of trust in her. That resulted
in a shouting match. That resulted in him beating his daughter to
death.
When the cops
arrived they found Mia dead and her father suffering from apparently
self-inflicted wounds. He had cut his throat and cut his wrist and
taken some pills. Unfortunately he screwed it up and didn't die.
He was just found guilty of first-degree murder. Sentencing is pending on September 7.
