Bill Maher ripped the 2024 presidential candidates for their performances this week, mocking Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for their 'boring' CNN interview and called Walz Harris' 'emotional support VP'.

The comedian dug into the presidential hopefuls in his opening monologue for his Max show, Real Time, on Friday.

On Thursday, Harris sat down with CNN's Dana Bash in her first interview as the Democratic presidential nominee.

'We finally had an interview last night with Kamala Harris,' Maher said. 'Not just her, with Tim Walz, her emotional support VP.'

'It was a little odd, he was just sitting there for a very long time without saying anything. He was just nodding while she did all the talking. The women's focus group said he must be a wonderful husband. But really, it just kept going, and he was saying nothing. It was like watching Jeopardy when one of the players can't work the buzzer.'

Republican strategists criticized her choice to bring Walz along calling it 'weak' and saying it implies she 'cannot be left unattended.'

Maher said, 'It's so funny, the media has been furious that she would not give an interview, and now she finally does and not a single question about abortion, Ukraine, the homeless, the Opioid crisis, the national debt, and then they wonder why the kids get their news from TikTok.

'Donald Trump, of course, had to s**t tweet while he was watching [the interview.] Boring [Trump called it]. Good. I'd love some boring.

'That's what I want in this ticket. It's Harris-Walz, not Deadpool-Wolverine.'

Maher needled Nancy Pelosi on Friday's show for her successful plot to oust Joe Biden from the 2024 election race.

The late night host then went on to dig at Trump for a trip to Arlington National Cemetery that included an altercation with a member of the staff there.

'When the park people told him to stop, he just shoved them aside. His goons just shoved her,' Maher said.

'Ever wondered what Donald Trump is like in real life? Tony Soprano without the introspection.'

Arlington National Cemetery is considered hallowed ground in the U.S. military and is managed by the Army.

Trump, who is running for a second term in the White House, was invited to visit on Monday with family members of the some of the soldiers killed three years ago when U.S. troops exited Afghanistan.

A member of Trump's team and staffer at the cemetery clashed over the presence of a photographer in Section 60, the area of the cemetery where American troops who were killed in recent wars are buried, according to reports.

'There's a law, as there should be, at Arlington National Cemetery, where our bravest and greatest are buried, that you can't take pictures, you can't use it as a campaign prop,' Maher said.

'So of course, when Trump heard this, he was like, the laws, right? And they told him to stop. And he was furious. He said, "You are ruining a perfectly good exploitation of a tragedy."'

'Then he grabbed some flowers off someone's grave and said, "Send these to Melania."'

The interview was only a disaster if you have some critical thinking skills. Many do not. Perhaps most do not. The believe whatever tripe the media spoons into their ears.

Not one important problem facing the America people was addressed.
