CANADIAN CHOOCHOOS BACK ON THE TRACKS

By Bob Walsh

The two rail operators, Canadian National Railway and Canadian Pacific Kansas City, are holding separate talks with the Teamsters' union, which represents about 10,000 workers across locomotive engineers, conductors, train and yard workers and rail traffic controllers. | File photo

The Canadian government ordered the train crews and the companies to go back to work and directed both sides into a binding arbitration program.  Depending on what flavor of "binding arbitration" they use it might turn out reasonably well for all concerned.  That is a good thing.
