THERE IS THE EXPLOSIVE ‘N’ WORD, BUT TO HOUSTON’S POLICE CHIEF IT’S THE ‘L’ WORD

Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo gets incensed when anyone calls him a leftist

In an interview with the Houston Press, Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo revealed that the ‘L’ word is right up there with the ‘N’ word.

Acevedo’s family came to the U.S. from Cuba, having fled from the oppressive Castro regime. He considers being called a leftist as fighting words. Acevedo told the Houston Press:

“Those are fighting words. So I really have to take a deep breath. People calling me a communist or a leftist probably don't know that's one of the most offensive things you can call a Cuban.”

Chief, I’ve got news for you, you are a leftist and there’s no other way to describe your political beliefs. You support sanctuary cities. You oppose SB 4 because it requires police officers to help enforce federal immigration laws.

Chief, your reasoning that SB 4 will lead to distrust of the police by the Hispanic community is a red herring. You’re a leftist plain and simple, and if that pisses you off, that’s tough shit, you leftist!
