The
mayor of the People's Republic of San Francisco was just fined not
quite $23,000 for some ethics whoopsies. Among them was approaching
Governor Jerry Brown from her official position as Mayor to try to
weasel a pardon for her criminal brother. She also allowed Mohammed
Nuru, formerly the head of the S. F. Public Works Department, to
personally pay for repairs at her home.
