This must be one of the County Commissioners
Boulder County, Colorado, is attempting to enact new "gun
violence prevention measures" because apparently a lot of people in
Boulder County are knee-jerk liberal asswipes, probably having moved
there from California.
The
new ordinances, passed unanimously by the County Commissioners
yesterday, do the following. 1) Ban the sale, transfer or purchase of
"assault weapons." 2) Place a 21-year minimum age on the purchase of a
firearm. 3) Enact a mandatory waiting period on the purchase of
firearms. 4) Bans the possession of "ghost guns." 5) Bans the
carrying of weapons in various public buildings and "sensitive public
areas" like parks.
The
Rocky Mountain Gun Club has already filed legal action against the town
of Superior in a similar case. A federal judge has already enjoined the
city from enforcing the ordinance. The city of Boulder and the city of
Louisville have also enacted similar ordinances.
