OK, I never heard of Ian Cameron either. He had been the
chief designer for Rolls Royce for a long time. It seems he was
murdered at his retirement home in Herrsching, Bavaria. The cops assert
that the killer was attempting to steal a very nice Rolls Royce
automobile from the collection of cars in his garage. His wife fled the
house and ran to a neighbor who called the cops. Strangely the killer
simply rang the doorbell and killed Cameron when he answer the door,
then fled. Additionally the alarm system had been sabotaged, apparently
a few days earlier.
The killer, who used a knife, beat feet without the car.
Cameron
was 74 years old. The cops are calling this an assassination and are
putting a lot of effort into the case. The Germans are, generally
speaking, opposed to tacky murders.

The criminal probably waited for Mr. Cameron to check the garage. Mr. Cameron didn't show so the criminal then went to the front door and rang the door bell? Stabs Mr. Cameron. This wasn't a Detroit car jacking. Who would drive around in a Rolls Royce in Bavaria after killing the designer? Sounds like a hit. Plain and simple. (USA)
