The
Dept. of Justice of the formerly great state of California confessed as
couple of days ago that a "data breach" resulted in access of the
personal information of people who have applied for gun permits in the
state.
The DOJ says it is
OK because the data was only exposed for about 24 hours. The DOJ also
said if you are worried you should sign up for a credit monitoring
service, a security freeze and place as possible fraud alert on your
records.
I am half
tempted to suggest the "breach" was in fact deliberate by the DOJ, but I
am not quite that paranoid. Almost, but not quite.
It
is well known that the AG and Governor are both psychotic anti-gun
zealots who go to great lengths to screw with people who like, own or
carry guns.
