The Viking Polaris was out cruising around the Antarctic on Tuesday, during a bit of a storm, when the ship was hit by a rogue wave. The ship was somewhat damaged by the wave and one passenger died. Four others were hurt.
The ship is very new, having been completed just last year. It carries 378 guests and 256 crew.
The ships next trip, an Antarctic Explorer trip, out of Ushuaia, Argentina, scheduled for December 5 has been cancelled.
