A 72-year-old woman allegedly turn off her German hospital
roommate's ventilator because she was annoyed by its sound.
It seems that an unnamed 72-year
old woman in the hospital in Mannheim, Germany was irritated by the
sound of her roomie's O2 equipment. So she turned it off. Twice.
The
public prosecutor obtained an arrest warrant for the woman, who is now a
guest of the people in a detention facility. The 79-year old victim is
still alive. She had to be rescuscitated and is still in ICU, which
was where she was in the first place.
I wonder if the facility the 72-year old is any quieter than the hospital was?. I somehow sort of doubt it.
