'COMMUNITY ACTIVIST" SHOT DOWN IN CHI-TOWN

by Bob Walsh

William Cooper, 58, billed himself as a community activist. He ran a non-profit in Chicago, allegedly working to fight violence in the windy city. He was shot down in the street about a block from his office. No leads, no suspects. Cops are speculating it might have been a targeted shooting, as opposed to the usual random violence. Somebody drove by and started blasting. Cops recovered about 20 expended shell cases at the scene.

Ain't gun control wonderful?
