President Trump attacked California's Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday for not looking out for the interests of his state's residents by not allowing the National Guard to protect the southern border.
“Looks like Jerry Brown and California are not looking for safety and security along their very porous Border. He cannot come to terms for the National Guard to patrol and protect the Border,” Trump tweeted Tuesday morning. “The high crime rate will only get higher. Much wanted Wall in San Diego already started!”
Trump has called on border states to send National Guardsmen to the U.S.-Mexican border to help border officers with their mission of keeping out illegal immigrants.
Even though Brown agreed last week to send these troops to California’s border with Mexico in exchange for federal funding, he has made it clear that he has no intention of using the troops to directly enforce immigration rules.
Trump’s long-promised border wall between the U.S. and Mexico has begun construction.
EDITOR’S NOTE: With California being a sanctuary state, I am dumbfounded as to why Moonbeam even called up 400 guardsmen.

Moonbeam is an idiot. He had no trouble with the idea of the N.G. interdicting drugs or human traffickers, but not ordinary, run of the mill wetbacks. Trouble is, they often go together. It is not practical to attempt to separate them up front. That has to wait until after you actually catch them.
