PROTESTING WATER POLLUTION BY PISSING IN THE LAKE??

OK, maybe it isn't QUITE as stupid or clear-cut as that, but it is still IMHO pretty damn stupid.

David Buckel was a prominent environmental activist and LGBTQ rights lawyer. He was 60 and is never going to see 61 because he set himself on fire in a park in Brooklyn early Saturday morning, in an apparent protest of environmental destruction. The note he left spoke specifically to the damage to the atmosphere due to the burning of fossil fuels.

I wonder what accelerant he used to do the deed? Unless it was brandy I suspect he contributed to the pollution he so decried while he was cashing out.
