Jose Cisneros, 31, probably didn't set a record but is definitely good for an honorable mention. On Thursday night at about 7:20 p.m. he blew past a marked Sheriff's car heading north on I-5 in Stockton doing about 120 mph. The deputy followed the asshole to a Am/PM, lights and sirens. At the AM/PM the driver bailed and attempted to run. The deputy lit him up a little bit and took him into custody. Two children, ages 5 and 8, were in the car. The guy blew a 0.40, which is five times the legal limit. Most people, even serious drinkers, are passed out by then.
The asshole is now in custody facing about a dozen charges plus outstanding warrants. He is being held pending $423,000 bail. Arraignment is scheduled in Lodi on Monday. I hope they give him 50 years for felony stupidity.
EDITOR'S NOTE: I would say the bail was just a wee bit too high. The judge who set it must have been stinking drunk himself.

I'm surprised he was granted bail with open warrants.
Could be they granted him bail only on the new offenses, but still held him without bail on the outstanding warrants. CA does nonsensical crap like that.
