Christopher Bauer, 45, was, at one time, a special agent with the FBI. They fired his ass after a co-worker claimed he raped her at knife point.
AFTER that incident he was hired by the Alabama State Police. He allegedly had a (forged) letter stating he was eligible for rehire which appears to have been accepted at face value. He seems to have cycled thru other law enforcement jobs with only a modest background check.
He was just sentenced to life for the rapes that occurred while he was with the Alabama State Police. The feds are preparing to prosecute him for the letter. He is also facing likely charges out of Louisiana. The young lady, now a teenager, described numerous cases of sexual assault by Bauer over a period of years.
Bauer has denied all charges. He has also said he had a shit childhood including allegedly being tossed out of a 3rd floor window and left in a burning apartment building as a child. He was removed from his parents custody at age five and grew up in foster care. He was arrested in 2021 on the Alabama charges.

Another cop/criminal, yet we keep being told we should trust cops and give them authority and immunity they should not have.
