An all-White jury found a White lady guilty of shooting her Black neighbor thru a metal-clad front door.  They didn't buy her self defense claim.

Susan Lorincz, 60, was found guilty of manslaughter after 2 1/2 hours of deliberation.  She faces the possibility of 30 years as a guest of the state.

In June of last year Lorincz fired one shot from a .380 automatic thru her front door, killing Ajike Owens, the mother of some neighborhood children that Lorincz had been having an on-going beef with.  Owens was banging on the door and yelling.  She was NOT armed.

Sentencing will follow a pre-sentencing investigation.  The family lawyer says they will be pressing for a maximum sentence.  Had she been charged with second degree murder she could be facing life as a guest of the people.
